i don't want this to come off as a "complaining list", rather i'm just noticing that things are different. things that i once found natural and normal in my life are now... unnatural because you change when you spend 10 months in another country that is so drastically different. haha so yea.. here are just a few observations i've made thus far... there's lots more but i won't bore you with all of them ;)

1. Flushing toilet paper down the toilet
2. Wearing a seat belt
3. Vaccumming (it's so loud!)
4. Using a dishwasher
5. Carpet stairs (carpet in general)
6. Empty & clean streets
7. Everyone's English is really good
8. Spanish speakers and words everywhere
9. Shower curtain and bathtub
10. Massive amounts of food and variety of
11. Driving everywhere & freeways
12. Beautiful breezy weather
13. Chinese food, it's not the same... haha
14. People obeying the traffic laws
15. Saying words I couldn't say before publicly
been back for almost a week now and culture shock is hitting me slowly... i forget how to act like an "American" (what do americans talk about? do? think??) sigh... everything's a process!
