HArbin to HAwaii

(and a little bit of the korean and japanese airport in there too, but that's another blog story!)

can two places be any more different?! reporting live from a local hawaiian starbucks, it's weird that this is america... everyone speaks english but all the street names are terrible hard to pronounce and they all sound a like (kauluakanamalahana something), all the diners have "asiany" foods with rice and noodles... i'm once again in an unfamiliar place and overwhelmed with culture shock (like drying machines, dark tan skin, and tropical green trees everywhere!) anyways hawaii is great... i love touching my sister's pregnant belly, eating my favorite hawaiian foods, and being with the whole family who came out to visit!

a few more random thoughts: it's weird that my skin is whiter than white people here and people aren't wearing enough clothes, and people don't use umbrellas to hide from the sun or rain really..

goodbye antartica, i mean, harbin!

hello hawaii and little girl fully clothed! (she was having a great time)

climbing trees on U of H campus with an old friend/"cousin"! :)

my beautifully preggo sister!

campus dining has never been more delicious!
