my lil 2 year old teammate, corbin, doesn't get out much. why? because it's mah-fan. (trouble) to get him ready to go outside... in Harbin.
i experienced this firsthand last week while babysitting corbin and taking him with me to drop his older brother kanyon off at school. try putting long underwear, pants, ski pants, a long sleeve, a sweater, socks, a hat, a jacket, snow boots, mittens, and a scarf on a 2 year old... it takes a lot of time and effort! haha so now i understand why he usually stays inside, it's easier that way. :)
when we were about to leave our apartment building i asked his older brother kanyon, "when was the last time corbin went outside?" he said, "um.... none!" haha i'm sure he did.. maybe a few weeks ago?
that morning seeing corbin outside, walking the streets of harbin.. was like seeing someone going to a new place for the first time. he was excited about the mangy puppies, cars, buildings, and old ladies doing tai-chee.. it was fun and i had fun making it a photo op of corbin's-morning-out-photo-shoot time hehe..
here's some of the things he saw and did that morning...
corbin and kanyon stopping to watch the tai chee ladies on the way to school
corbin and some pretty fake flowers.. real ones are hard to find in the middle of winter here.
corbin outside of kanyon's school playground.. he wanted to play but it was too cold to play!
corbin sitting in the middle of a playground.. just for fun and for a cute picture :)
corbin's nickname is also "beefcake" because he's huge and quite beefy. i had to carry him up a flight of stairs at the school because he can't move with so many clothes and he trips over his big boots.. needless to say, my arms were sore the next 2 days! haha
