conference started off a little abnormal- due to a chocolate banana milkshake.. hahaha once i drank it- my throat became coated in soreness that led to a cold and runny nose and mucous and coughing then a headache then tiredness and weariness and then a slight ear infection...and now i'm better :) but it was tough not being able to be my regular perky self or sing loudly and freely during praise and song time... but the hardest was not being able to be around the kids and babies that i love soooo much waited so long to hold! ahhh.. maybe the father wanted me to rest more and be still. thankfully i wasn't sick the WHOLE time ;)
the past 3 days or so of conference were called "sabbath" days because we didnt' have any businessy meetings or workshops or stuff to do.. in fact, other than a corporate meeting in the morning with songs and truth and reports from other countries.. it's been a whole lot of free time to just do nothing.. and rest! haha
it's been much much needed after the longest semester of teaching indeed! been able to read, journal, hang out and talk with new and old friends, play sports, eat and eat some more! the "hot" question of the week has been..."so what are you doing next year???" and i respond..."not sure- still thinking about it.. haha" which is honestly soemthing that i've thought about everyday for the past few weeks and spent time thinking about for a few months now too!
please ask for peace and confirmation as the Father leads me with decisions for next year.. i'll try to keep updated with that more... but for now here's a few pics that i'm able to sneak in :) enjoy!
