last week the weather was perfectly 75 degrees and students were playing basketball
with the fresh nets we put up "secretly" at night....
now it's cold, nippy, and raining weather. oh changeable weather in nanchang!
one of miss laura's freshman (in college btw) students made this card for valentines day... haha
it makes me laugh :D

hmmmmmm well this a strange transition from chicken feet to other news. ;) life has been good. busy, but good... getting back into the mode of teaching, lesson plans, office hours, and the whole she-bang. i realize my blog posts have not been of super quality lately, my apologies... i wish i could just take a video of a full day in the life of china. haha it's pretty impossible to describe each experience in words.. let's seeeeeeeeeee... CHANGE is one word to describe it.. change in the classes that i teach, change in the people that work at restaurants nearby, change in my hairdressers that wash my hair, change in the weather for sure, change in my honeymoon phase of eating chinese food after withdrawl of it for 2 weeks in thailand, change in fruit that's in season, change in.... hm. i think that's it. not too bad right? hehe some change is good.. but some change has been hard adjusting to. i'm thankful for the things that do not change- who he is, his word, and his love <3
please think of my roomie-shannon- with her painful random ailments... thanks guys!
