back in the meiguo (america)

hello southern california!

you are more beautiful than ever with your soft sunshine, blue skies, and tender winds :) it's good to be back driving where i want, when i want, and how i want! too many children have grown up- even in just 6 months that i can barely recognize them!! i love your sea of ethnic faces and personalities everywhere i go..

it's good to be back in my hometown that i've known for so many years of my life... but some simple things do not feel as normal as they once did. in fact so many things, like endless variety of cereal, seem so... foreign, strange, and unbelieveable! i guess that's what happens when you live overseas for a while.

reminiscing back to my days in japan.. here's a video of the swankiest bathroom/toilet i've ever seen. hehehe and a few random pictures of my time there and here in american :)

cute kids that i got to hang out with in japan :)

traditional japanese meal at our traditional japanese hotel... the red dish near the bottom right is the raw horse meat that i THINK got me sick the rest of the week haha...

strange things do happen in america.. i saw this man riding this bike on my way home the first day haha...
