teacher-zilla nightmare...

a visual of what my face COULD have looked like during my teacher-zilla dream. haha

i guess you could say last night was a rather.. "unpleasant" dream. it all started with 120 of my students in a huge lecture hall and they were taking their written midterm exam and they all aware that Miss Jodi does NOT allow talking during the test just like any other normal right minded teacher.. BUT somehow they were ALL talking and chatting and whispering to each other like it was no big deal. My face was turning red with anger because I HATE cheating and was appalled that they were testing me and talking during the exam! i was so furious and reacted harshly to them by scolding them and then gathering the exams and ripping ALL of them with my bare hands!!! (in real life i tell them if i catch the cheating i will rip their paper- which i don't really do, but just to scare them haha)

yes.. that might just be my teacher-zilla nightmare and thankfully my students know better and would never test in that way- i hope! hehe sometimes it IS hard to have patience with students when they don't listen, turn in late assignments, etc- please be asking for extra grace and wisdom as a teacher- it's a tough job!!

oh a sweeter and more sensitive note.. last week i had my students journal about their favorite hobby/pastime- and sweet sweet Evan wrote this :)
