reminders...

harbin is blessed with really cool skies, clouds, and all that jazz... it's a good reminder for me whenever i look up and see the vastness of it all of who my Father is and just how big he is and how small i am! sometimes i just need that reminder that He's big, able, and faithful...

especially for times such as this. to make a long story short, i'll be heading back to nanchang tomorrow evening with a city friend on a beautiful glorious 38 hour train ride (2 nights and a full day on a train- woot!) we planned on taking this train back but weren't able to get the tickets. so we have go to the more expensive alternative of a flight. but there's a SMALL problem that sits in front of us to this very hour... we don't have our passports. the visa office bureau place does and we wait, hope, trust, and pray that we will get it back tomorrow sometime before we leave for the train... or else we're stuck in Nanchang!

for times like these it's really easy to go crazy, worry to death, and stress out about "what if's" but for once in my life i feel somewhat at peace about this... knowing that He has it in control and if he wants me back in Harbin, he'll provide a way :) it's just a good opportunity to trust him right now. so wherever you're at in life... i hope that you're able to trust and be reminded of who He is!
