a bizarre night

okay.. it wasn't a totally bizarre night until my roommate and i got back from the "night bazaar" (shopping market thing) to our guesthouse. usually there is a guard that lets us in, but this time he wasn't there initially, and then he popped out of no where, opened the gate for us and then said something like "you want to see a mouse i killed?" while fishing it out of the pool... it looked like the "mouse" was on a big leaf until he held out a large bat with it's wings!! yep. so in a nutshell- our thai guard of the guesthouse killed a bat with a slingshot and showed it off to us. yep. we even got some priceless pictures to capture the kodak moment :) enjoy!
