wind + plastic bags = plastic bags in trees

plastic bags are EVERYWHERE in china... especially with the crazy winds that we get blowing through our city. i heard that at one point they banned plastic bags but i guess that didn't last very long. people use plastic bags for everything here... buying street food, fruit, veggies, stuff, more stuff, and more food.

the other day i was walking behind a teenage boy who was eating something and then he threw his plastic bag wrap on the perfectly cleaned road. i picked it up and met him a ways later where he stopped, gave him the bag and said to him in English, "don't do that." haha he looked shocked, embarrassed, and ashamed... i hope he learned his lesson of littering :)

haha, bj, you have the best stories! and you're a great observer to notice all those bags in the trees.

HAHA! You WOULD do that =0) But that's awesome... I think that if they would just educate the public about "no littering", that might help (or maybe not)... Your post reminded me of this movie I used to watch in grade school, about the adventures of this "red balloon"... but yours is the adventures of... plastic bag =)
