on a sidewalk. for some reason it makes me smile :) it seems like a perfect set up for a joke or story.. but no they were not abandoned or raptured.. the grandmothers were clustered not too far away, taking care of the wee little ones. in china, the parents work while the grandmothers take care and practically raise their grandchild! it's quite normal here!
