last thursday morning i said goodbye to robin, olivia, and joel who were the first to head out to america
last friday morning i said goodbye to some wonderful city girlfriends that i'm so blessed by their hearts and friendship
last friday night i said goodbye to the jeremy, m'lynn, kanyon, and corbin as they also headed out for america
last night i said goodbye to sweet and dear daisy and alison, two sisters whom i will truly miss
this morning i said goodbye to the gordon's and the hui's along with 20+ other students wanting to see them off
my heart is almost empty right now because i know that each student, teammate and friend has taken a part of me with them... right now it feels like everyone left for the weekend or day and i'll see them all again next week like normal. it's crazy to think the father gave us so many emotions to feel sadness when leaving and saying goodbyes and joy for new stages/seasons in life. my hope is to see them all again, if not in america, china, or thailand then hopefully in our heavenly home one day...
some pictures from the past week of trickling goodbyes...
last night together as a team <3
last group picture with sophomore class 2
last pic together with laura, lauren, and kayla
last pic together with my dear sisters in the faith
last hugs with students for hui & gordon... they give ridiculously good hugs!
until then, i'll cry with swollen puffy eyes, remember the good times & these people to the father, and thank him for SO many blessings, friendships, and time with these amazing people that i don't deserve!!

it always IS so hard to say goodbye-- i've done it every summer in mexico and it's hard for me, but i can't even imagine after all the years in china, how hard it is to say goodbye-- but knowing that He is in control of our friendships is comforting. looking forward to seeing you soon!
baby jodi, i'm lifting you up as you have to say many goodbyes! hope you have a blessed last week in harbin! love you!
Oh Jodi. I miss you so much. My dad was watching part of our DVD and mentioned how pretty you are and how pretty your smile is. All I could think was, "Yeah, she does. I miss that smile right now." I love you and know that there are great things ahead for you. Blessings on you as you wrap it all up in China and head back to America yourself.
