like the amazing sunsets, perfectly clear blue skies, massive green trees, free movies that you can watch on the beach, great deals (like a mixed berry cheesecake that was originally $6.99 but on sale for $1.75!!), friendly customer service (almost) everywhere, a quiet, beautiful, peaceful little chapel i found on APU campus... and so on!
even with all the goodness around me, i still miss china, my students, and my team!! usually i'm a pre-griever but i think i've moved on to be a perpetual griever! the other day i was talking to a friend that will be returning back to china and will probably see some of my teammates.. i told her to give them a hug for me and then i started crying. sigh... this whole living in america and not china thing is going to take some time!
