today i taught my sophomores about stereotypes.. what they are and how they relate to learning about a different culture... so i had them write a list of stereotypes and here's some savory ones i wanna share with you :)
-All American people's skin is not good
-Americans are all not afraid of cold (according to the Chinese we do not wear that many clothes and are therefore- very strong! hehe)
-Americans are all like eating turkey
-Frenchman is the most romantic
-All Americans like Chinese food
-Chinese medicine is the most famous in the world
-All the people in the world are like KFC :)
