here's a "visual" picture (thanks to google maps!) of what the new campus that i work at looks like! it doesn't LOOK that big but it is pretty huge.. from the front gate to the back gate it's a good... hefty.. 20-25 minute walk? anyways.. it's a glimpse of what the new campus is like.. old campus (where i live) is significantly smaller.. maybe 1/5 of the size and not so glamorous with a lake and pagoda in the middle. haha...
apologies for the lack of blog updates.. everytime i think off something "blog worthy" to write about i forget and then get too busy... so here i am, trying to think of what's happened in the past couple weeks.. a quick summary recap of just a FEW highlights and events :)
-had lunch with a gazillion students
-played basketball with my boy students
-went to a chinese birthday party at KTV and sang brittney spears- oops i did it again.. ahhh.. haha
-had a pretty wild open house last week that ended in a dancing session- holding hands in a circle and doing a wave
-made some mini-hamburgers for the baby buns i bought at walmart
-hosted a "dating game show" in class... it was pretty great.
-played ultimate frisbee and suffered the consequences of my old aged body afterwards
