adventures with my mum and roomie :)

my mum came to visit for about 0.71 of a day last thursday! i told my students that miss jodi is crazy... because her mom is crazy! :D haha and she is.... she came, cut my teammate's hair, met my new students and gave 122 hugs to each of them, ate lunch with close chinese friends, got a cold hair wash (word of the wise: don't get hair wash in china when it's freezing outside), cut more hair, and then left! even though it was so short it was nice to have her here... my students, teammates, and i were all really blessed. not only by the goodies of hand warmers and salad dressing she brought but because her energy and motherly warmth warmed all our hearts!! one of my students asked her in class what was the most important thing in her life and she told them it was living her life for the Father and serving others.. my student later told me that it really touched her and made her think a lot about it :) thanks mom for coming!!
