national holiday in the 'chang

('chang = nanchang 南昌)

this past week was my first time back in nanchang in 5 months... but it felt like 5 years/5 days at the same time!

SO much can change in 5 months- new haircuts, new buildings, new stores, some old places gone, and upgrades in the old apartments... yet some things were just the same like good ol' korean food, friend's smiles & laughs, and the crowded 220 bus :)

i got to hang out with some wonderful nanchang ren peng you (nanchang people friends) including foreign teachers friends from another school, back gate friends, students, sisters, and more! what a blessing it was to see so many familiar faces! :D

enjoying my favorite 1 kuai (15 cent) ice cream with the sisters

hanging outside on a BEAUTIFUL perfect day with some old sophomores & talent haha

my photo place family cooked me a scrumptious meal in their tiny home behind their store... super sweet!

a few old juniors and i hanging out in empty apartment 601 and our "fake awkward smiles" :D

hanging out with charity (the new team leader at blue sky) and an old friend :)

we are family! i got all my sisters with me.. :)

mark & shirley's restaurant.. spoiled us too much :)

lisa and her new do ;) oh, and the russian nesting doll souvenirs from harbin too hehe

goodbye blue sky and nanchang... perhaps next national holiday i'll visit again!

wonderful friends = wonderful times :)
