compared to china, the streets of america (or at least my neighborhood) are like a ghost town or something. while walking to the grocery store 10 minutes away i saw about 2 people on the street and just a "few" cars on the road... one was watering his grass and the other was a student walking to the bus. SO strange. in china i would see about 6.2 billion people and TONS of cars and traffic on the streets!
one more observation. i happen to live in a city where the weather is beautiful 89% of the time. we get a nice ocean breeze, blue skies, sunshine, green grass and trees.. what more could you ask for? but even with all this beauty nobody is outside! amazing. it makes me want to barf sometimes when i think about how nice the weather is for majority of the year. i think my appreciation for weather has grown more and more after living in the world's most humid and freezing cities in china. haha.... in china EVERYONE and their mom goes outside, for walks, to talk, to let their kids play, to dance, to people watch, to enjoy sunshine, etc. but in america... most people stay inside at home- so this i challenge you... if it won't hurt or burn you, go outside and enjoy His creation like these cute old people are doing!! :D

I definitely agree with this phenomenon! However it seems like that photo was taken in 1986 from the looks of that gold car cruising down the road. Nice!
