dinner hoppin'!

if you ever find yourself on a date or with a group of friends in thailand or china or a place with a lot of good small hole in the wall restaurants/street food ... i certainly recommend "dinner hoppin'"!!!

what is dinner hopping you might ask? i'd like to think of it as movie hopping but more legal and eating food instead of watching movies :) it all started one warm night in thailand when samson and i were going to find something to eat. we couldn't agree on a place but instead came up with a brilliant idea to share/try one dish at a place and then go another.. and another.. and another until we were full! haha

sure, it was a little bit "pricier" than just getting ONE dish somewhere but it was delicious and a super FUN new experience together! :)

here's our menu for the night:

pork katsudon (a japanese dish) 69 Baht (about $2.3)
chicken rice & papaya salad 60 Baht ($2)
chicken on a stick 40 Baht ($1.3)
6 pieces of sushi 30 Baht ($1)
1 strawberry ice cream crepe like waffle 35 Baht ($1.2)

total cost for the night= 234 Baht (about $7.80!)

i think i'm in love... with chicken rice!! super tasty, cheap, and addicting!!
