8:48 am i got a text from my teammates saying "game night and brownies at our place tonight. starts at 8:30"
i showed up with several games in my apartment as options to play with since i knew there would be a big group of about 8 people. the toss up was between "apples to apples" in a can and "guesstures"... but instead we resorted to option 3- talking and hanging out (gordon's favorite kind of "game") haha..
it's so good to be with team again include gordon's dad visiting and our newest honorary "teammate" ruthy :) we talked for almost 2 hours about everything under the sun... here's a list of everything i can remember! haha they made some quite interesting conversations and hearty laughs indeed!
-the quality of box mix brownies
-the children's barf stories
-kanyon's (my 4yr old teammate!) proposal to a girl he befriended at conference
-toenail polish
-cockroaches and tarantulas/spiders
-personal "boy who cried wolf" stories
-sweaty moldy weather
-robin talking to herself & sleep talking
-newest movies to watch
-stealing, i mean, "taking" airport blankets & attempts of fancy restaurant chopsticks
...conversations (and stories) are good for the soul :)
