apparently, about 46% (my guess) of taxis in harbin say "ixat" instead of "taxi"!! samson pointed it out to me last week while we were in a taxi, by saying "ixat" (it's a strange word to say/pronounce).. i was confused as to what he was trying to say and then he pointed it out in the taxi next to us with the letters "IXAT" on the door! he said he's never seen them in any other city but harbin... harbin is pretty special! so the rest of the taxi ride we played the "ixat" game to see who could find more taxi's with that label on the door... he won, of course. ;)

IXAT
this is my 2nd year in harbin and somehow you just never notice things until someone, that hasn't been around in the city that much, points it out to you. haha
